Claire Hofstetter, LMT, CMLDT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist
As a dedicated massage therapist, mother, business owner, and stretch and movement aficionado, my mission is to facilitate healing and promote restoration, vitality, grace, and a sense of well-being.
After completing my massage therapy training at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies (ASIS Massage Education) in 2012, I have developed expertise in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual lymph drainage, myofascial release, stretch therapy, cupping, oncology considerations, and post-operative lymphatic recovery.
Throughout my career, I have primarily worked in clinical and rehabilitative settings. Since 2018, I have been involved with ASIS Massage Education in admissions, administration, and education. Additionally, I have been an instructor for the Academy of Lymphatic Studies since 2022.
When I’m not in my treatment room, I can be found at home with my husband Kalif and our 2-year-old daughter Izzy or in the gym with my other family at BLUR Fitness. Also a few fun facts: I take my coffee with heavy cream and honey, I spent a part of my childhood living on Catalina Island, I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan, I have a Belgian Malinois who needs to be as physically close to me as he can at all times, and deadlifts are my favorite.
“Soothing touch, whether it be applied to a ruffled cat, a crying infant, or a frightened child, has a universally recognized power to ameliorate the signs of distress. How can it be that we overlook its usefulness on the jangled adult as well? What is it that leads us to assume that the stressed child merely needs “comforting,” while the stressed adult needs “medicine”?” — from Job’s Body: A Handbook for Bodywork by Deane Juhan
