FAQ & What to Expect

At Apex Bodyworx, we provide you with a professional massage and stretch therapy experience. It is recommended that you come dressed comfortably on the day of your appointment.

For massage, your comfort level is always respected, and clothing can be worked around; however, the more clothing you have on, the less soft tissue we will be able to affect with direct skin contact. The only area of the body that is exposed is the area the therapist is working on. For manual lymph drainage, access to skin is essential to properly apply the technique.

For stretch therapy, please wear comfortable clothing and bring socks!

  • You receive the time on the table that you have purchased. In other words, your time does not start until the therapist begins the session. However, because of the time commitments to other clients, this can only be achieved if you arrive on time for your appointment.
  • A sheet and blanket are always provided for massage sessions to respect your modesty and to maintain professionalism. A table warmer can be used during your session as well.
  • Pillows, and other props can be used on the table to ensure you are comfortable, and modifications can be made to the position you are in.
  • Touch can be as light or deep as you feel is necessary. It is the responsibility of the client to communicate to the therapist if they would like the pressure adjusted throughout the session. Proper communication is encouraged so that the therapist can advise you on what is recommended to reach your goals of the session.
  • You may choose to have a full body session or a more focused session, depending on your needs at the time. Any modalities offered can be integrated during your time. For example, adding in stretch, cupping, manual lymph drainage, etc.
  • Water is provided.

Cupping therapy, also known as myofascial decompression, is a technique where suction is applied to the skin using cups to gently lift the underlying tissues. This process reduces tension, promotes blood flow, and enhances lymphatic drainage, making it an effective tool for alleviating pain, improving mobility, and supporting recovery. By releasing restrictions in the fascia and encouraging circulation, cupping can help promote healing and overall wellness, making it a valuable addition to therapeutic practices. There is no additional charge for this service.

Targeted Vibrational Therapy (TVT) is a specialized technique that uses high-frequency, low-amplitude vibrations to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. It combines passive and active vibration applications with stretching protocols to address soft tissue restrictions and promote healing. TVT is often used to support recovery, optimize performance, and encourage natural movement.

Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Venmo, Zelle and Apple Pay are all accepted. Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

Gift certificates are available for purchase in 60 and 90 minute sessions and expire 12 months after date of purchase. Gift certificates are also transferable.

All Package plans expire 12 months after purchase, unless otherwise noted with special offers.

Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, and efforts are made to accommodate them flexibly. However, last-minute cancellations or no-shows are costly and prevent others from booking the available time. By completing the massage therapy intake form, clients agree to a 24-hour cancellation policy. This policy applies to same-day cancellations and no-show appointments, which will result in a charge for the full session price.
